Battlefield Paints & Quarter Horses, got its start in the small town of
Glenville in York County, Pa., in 1999. Now located in Historic Gettysburg
in Adams County, Pa. Battlefield came into being when two long time horse
people, Lana Markey and Marshall Graves met, married and carried on their
combined 75 year's long love affair with the American Stock Horse.
Our goal
is to breed for a horse that has Halter horse conformation with the mind set
and ability to perform, whether it is doing Western or English Pleasure or
the Hunter Classes. And /or just enjoying a leisure day on the trails.
Battlefield is all about responsibility to the safety and welfare of not
only our horses but yours as well while they are in our keeping. We have
individual paddocks for outside mares & foals.

Please excuse us while we remodel
and have new construction under way for the comfort of our broodmares and
foals, as well as for your visiting broodmares and foals. Our new barn with
roomy stalls, that are well lighted and airy.
